After reading the MLIS 7505 discussions from this first week, one theme that consistently pops up is that hard working, technically savvy librarians would like to implement Web 2.0 services at their libraries, but they don't have the time to do it. I guess it comes down to library management / boards / overlords seeing the potential of Web 2.0 services, making them a priority, and allocating already stretched staff and resources to make them happen.
I would blog more about this fascinating subject but . . . , wow, look at the time!
